Meat delivery platform Meatigo expands to Chennai

Online meat delivery platform Meatigo has expanded its footprint to Chennai, bringing a range of products from fresh raw meat to ready-to-cook delicacies to the consumer's doorstep.

The Gurgaon-based platform offers a range of products from Japanese, Korean to Swiss flavours with the option to consumers to schedule deliveries a week in advance.

It offers over 150 products including fresh raw meat (chicken, mutton, pork), seafood, exotic meats, delicatessen, alongside delicious ready-to-cook offerings such as momos, burger patties, kebabs as well as International and Indian ready to cook marinades.

“There is a huge unmet demand for hygienic and fresh, meat, seafood, and meat-based products. We would also like to introduce our famous momo’s to Chennaites,” Siddhant Wangdi, founder of Meatigo told DH.

He said Meatigo operated on an end-to-end supply chain model that includedprocuring 100% antibiotic and hormone-free meats through trusted farms and supply partners, meticulous preparation methods and a scientific approach in the way the meat is cut, packed, stored, and delivered.

“We have our own delivery team which delivers an on-demand order in 120 minutes to the customers’ doorstep,” Wangdi said.

Currently, the meat delivery platform is present in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Pune, Hyderabad, Chandigarh.

“All the products are inspected by an in-house team of experienced food technologists for freshness, hygiene, and sourcing parameters and are antibiotic-residue and hormone-free,” Wangdi said.
