Mumbai: In what would generate political heat, NCP (SP) Working President and Baramati MP Supriya Sule said that her phone and WhatsApp account has been hacked.
However, later the issue was resolved by police and WhatsApp.
An important leader of the opposition bench, Sule, the daughter of NCP (SP) supremo Sharad Pawar, has filed a complaint with the police.
“Urgent: My phone and WhatsApp have been hacked. Please do not call or text me. I have reached out to the police for help,” Sule posted on X platform.
However, later, she urged people to be careful while informing them that things have been set right.
“My phone and WhatsApp are now working again. Thanks to Pune Rural Police and WhatsApp Support for their quick help. Sorry for any trouble caused while I was unreachable,” Sule posted on X.
"Please be careful—never share OTPs or click on unknown links,” she said.
