<p>With India’s ‘Operation Kaveri,’ in full swing, the IAF has mobilized its largest aircraft for the rescue mission. The IAF deployed its "mammoth" C-17 aircraft to evacuate stranded Indians from conflict-hit Sudan. IAF’s first and only C-17 pilot, Flt. Lt. Har Raj Kaur Boparai, has joined the rescue operation. India has deployed C-130J Super Hercules, C-17 Globemaster aircraft, and INS Sumedha, INS Teg, and INS Tarkash for the rescue mission. Over 1000 stranded Indians have been evacuated from conflict zones in Sudan through various means so far. Sudan has been witnessing deadly clashes between the country's army and a paramilitary group.<br /> </p>
