Pakistani national seeking Indian citizenship dies

Nasser Ahmad, who was staying on a long-term visa died yesterday, they said, adding, he was laid to rest here in the presence of local intelligence unit officials.

Ahmad, an Indian citizen, went to Pakistan in 1952, and acquired Pakistan citizenship.
Later, he returned to India on a long-term visa, and applied for Indian citizenship in 1984, and his application was pending before the authorities.
