<p>A local Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader and former sarpanch of Meghowal Ganjian village here was shot dead by two unidentified men on Thursday evening, police said.</p>.<p> The incident took place when Surjit Singh was sitting outside a grocery shop in his village.
