Solutions to conflicts cannot be found on the battlefield: PM Modi repeats that killing of innocents not acceptable

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Wednesday that he had discussed the conflicts in Ukraine and West Asia with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer, reiterating that the loss of innocent lives is not acceptable anywhere and solutions to conflicts cannot be found on the battlefield.

PM Modi had made similar remarks in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Tuesday.
