While 50 lakh enrolments have to commence in Chhattisgarh, the process is expected to start during mid-October in Orissa. In the Andaman&Nicobar Islands, the enrolment process is expected to begin in 2011.<br />However, the Andhra Pradesh government would like to expand the utility of Aadhar by issuing multi-purpose break-proof cards with 64 MB memory. <br /><br />This will be utilised for the implementation of various schemes like ration and employment guarantee programmes.While each state will be reimbursed Rs 50 per capita towards the costs, the 13th Finance Commission has earmarked Rs 126.10 crore for Andhra Pradesh, Rs 91 crore for Chhattisgarh, Rs 178.5 crore for Orissa and Rs 92 lakh for Andaman&Nicobar Islands. Additional amount of Rs 10 crore will be provided to each state for the upgradation of ITC infrastructure.<br /></p>
