I will make sure we have a plan,” the former vice president said.</p>.<p>Biden said that this is a dark winter as he came down heavily on the Trump administration’s handling of the pandemic.</p>.<p>Trump praised the US response to the pandemic, claiming that the crisis “is going away”.</p>.<p>On the question of lockdown, Trump said: “We don't have the ability to lock ourselves in basement”.</p>.<p>“We’re not going to shut down and we have to open our schools,” Trump said. “The cure cannot be worse than the problem itself,” Trump said.</p>.<p>According to Johns Hopkins coronavirus tracker, the coronavirus has so far infected more than 41 million people and killed over 1.1 million people globally.
