Parliament highlights: Congress never even built a toilet for women in Amethi, not surprised by their ignorance about Budget, says Smriti Irani
The first leg of the Budget Session in the Parliament will conclude on Friday, Rajya Sabha Chairman Venkaiah Naidu said. Congress and BJP exchanged volleys of verbal attacks in the Lok Sabha. The sitting of the Rajya Sabha fixed for 13th February has been cancelled. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will be speaking in the House on February 12. Stay tuned for more updates.

This person had said that he's not concerned about Budget. I'm not surprised because Budget mentions about Aatmanirbhar Swasth Bharat Yojana. He's not concerned even when there wasn't even CT scan facility at hospitals of his constituency when he was an MP there: Smriti Irani in Lok Sabha.

Did not expect a Congress MP will call Mahatma Gandhi conspirator: Anurag Thakur's remark kicks a row in Rajya Sabha
Union minister Anurag Thakur on Thursday kicked a row in Rajya Sabha when he sought to extrapolate usage of the term 'andolanjivi' by a Congress MP for Mahatma Gandhi, to ask if the Father of the Nation was a "shariantkari" (conspirator).
It is no acceptable for this gentleman (Rahul Gandhi) to discuss Budget in this House. Budget is to make India self-reliant, to connect India. Those who supported slogans calling for fragmentation of India can never support Budget dedicated to India: Smriti Irani in LS. (ANI)
