Home ministry to submit report to PMO on Kerala House 'raid'

The Home Ministry will submit a report to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on the Delhi Police’s “raid” at Kerala House on a complaint that its canteen had served ‘beef’.

The PMO had on Tuesday night asked the ministry to file a report following a terse letter from Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking action against the police personnel who searched the Kerala House premises without seeking permission.

“A report incorporating the details of the incident in Kerala House will soon be submitted to the PMO so that a proper reply could be sent to Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy,” a senior ministry official said.The report to the PMO will be based on the information provided by the Delhi Police.
