The voting is under way for the second phase for 93 Assembly constituencies across 14 districts of central and north Gujarat. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP leader Hardik Patel were among early voters. The BJP and the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP are contesting in all the 93 seats. Rahul Gandhi promises change in Gujarat, Amit Shah says vote for a bright future
Voting for the second and final phase of the Gujarat Assembly elections is being held on Monday. While Union Home Minister Amit Shah has appealed to the people to vote for a better future, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi asked the people to vote for change in the state.
Shah appealed to the voters, especially the youth and asked them to vote in maximum numbers to elect his government with a thumping majority which had ensured peace and prosperity in the state. He underlined that the golden future of Gujarat lay in their votes.
On the other hand, Gandhi said that Congress would fulfil the promise to the youth, farmers, women and every citizen to bring change in Gujarat.
