<p>With fresh Covid-19 cases down to a trickle, the Delhi government announced easing of restrictions on travel in the national capital by allowing metro and bus services to run to full capacity from Monday.</p>.<p>Cinema halls and theatres in the city will be allowed to reopen at half their capacity, while bars too shall be permitted to operate at 50% of the seating capacity from 12 noon to 10 pm, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) said.</p>.<p>“All shops will be permitted to function on all days of the week without any distinction of essential and non-essential goods and services between 10 am and 8 pm,” the DDMA order said.</p>.<p><strong>Read: <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/state/top-karnataka-stories/karnataka-permits-reopening-of-amusement-parks-activities-at-places-of-worship-1012324.html">Karnataka permits activities at places of worship</a></strong></p>.<p>Auditoriums, assembly halls can also reopen with a 50% seating capacity. In both buses and metros, no standing passenger will be allowed, the order said.</p>.<p>Wedding events can take place with the presence of a maximum of 100 persons and the same cap is applicable for funerals too, the DDMA said.</p>.<p>Religious places will also open in the national capital but visitors will not be allowed.</p>.<p>The DDMA has also allowed business-to-business (B2B) exhibitions, but only for business visitors.</p>.<p>On Saturday, Delhi reported 66 fresh cases of Covid-19 and <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/national/north-and-central/delhi-records-zero-covid-19-deaths-for-second-time-since-onset-of-2nd-wave-66-cases-1012442.html" target="_blank">no deaths</a>. The capital has 587 active cases.</p>.<p>The national capital had witnessed a brutal second wave of Covid-19 in April-May with a maximum of 28,395 fresh cases reported on April 21.
