<p>Doubts were cast by certain sections of Pakistan and international media about the damage the Indian Air Force (IAF) actually inflicted during their strikes on the Jaish-e-Mohammad camp in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).</p>.<p>However, The Indian Express, quoting top government sources, has reported that four buildings in the Madrasa Taleem-ul-Quran campus were hit by the IAF. It also reported that intelligence agencies have evidence to show that four buildings were hit using five S-2000 precision-guided munition (PGM), fired from Mirage 2000 warplanes. The evidence is in the form of imagery from the Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR).</p>.<p>Pakistan has, from the beginning, stuck to the stand that the area was struck by India, but vehemently denied that there was any damage or the fact that there were terror camps there.</p>.<p>However, in a big embarrassment for the Pakistanis, their railway minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed was caught on tape saying that the IAF jets “came to Jaba, where Azhar Saab's madrassa is located”.</p>.<p>What gives credence to the fact that the terror camp was actually hit is that the S-2000 bombs are highly accurate and jammer-proof. The bomb is also known to be precise even under heavy cloud cover, The Indian Express adds.</p>.<p>Questions were also raised as to why the Pakistan Army sealed off the madrassa after the strike and denied journalists access to the place that was struck.</p>.<p>The Indian government official also added that the SAR imagery showed that a building was used as a guest house, where Maulana Masood Azhar’s brother used to stay, an L-shaped building where trainers were housed, a double-storied building where students entering the seminary stayed and another one that housed recruits who were undergoing final combat training were destroyed in the strikes.<br /> </p>
