<p>Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday expressed sadness over devastation caused by the floods in Pakistan.</p>.<p>“Saddened to see the devastation caused by the floods in Pakistan,” the prime minister posted on Twitter.</p>.<p>A devastating flood displaced over 33 million people across Pakistan, resulted in the death of at least 1,061 and leaving 1,575 injured,</p>.<p>“We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, the injured and all those affected by this natural calamity and hope for an early restoration of normalcy,” tweeted Modi. </p>
