All the three cleared 1.70 metres but Kavya took the gold on a countback while Mallika and Chandana shared the silver medal.<br /><br />The day also witnessed the first National record of the meet. <br />Sudha Singh of Uttar Pradesh claimed the honours, winning the women’s 3000M steeplechase in 10:15.91.
