Olympics 2024 | Cuban wrestler Guzman Lopez named Vinesh Phogat's replacement for 50kg final

Phogat was disqualified from the Paris Olympics after she could not make the weight on the morning of her 50 kg gold medal bout.

Cuban wrestler Yusneylis Guzman Lopez, who lost to Vinesh Phogat in semifinals, will replaces her in the Paris Olympics final of 50kg category, news agency PTI reported on Wednesday.

It may be recalled that Phogat was disqualified from the Paris Games final after being found overweight by a few grams.
