<p class="title">Despite his non-availability for a majority part of the Karnataka Premier League, Abhimanyu Mithun will remain with Shivamogga Lions, the franchise owner R Kumar confirmed on Tuesday. </p>.<p>Mithun's selection into the India Red squad for the Duleep Trophy on Monday has put the Lions in a difficult position. Shivamogga had acquired Mithun for a record price of Rs 8.3 lakh in the auction. On Monday, the Lions were in a dilemma to either to hold on to the 28-year-old pacer or replace him. </p>.<p>Kumar told DH he has decided to stick with Mithun. "I had a discussion with the other members of the franchises today and we have decided to retain him. We could have the services of Mithun for three-four matches. Last year, he had a great tournament with Bijapur Bulls and that's the reason we went all out for him during the auctions. We don't want to lose him," said Kumar. </p>.<p>Kumar also confirmed that the Lions have informed their decision to the Karnataka State Cricket Association.</p>
