<p>Karnataka BJP president B S Yeddyurappa on Friday said his party was not interested in toppling the JD(S)-Congress coalition government in the state.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Yeddyurappa, who met party national president Amit Shah here, told reporters that the BJP was not making any attempt to destabilise the coalition government. “We are not in touch with any legislators from Congress or JD(S). Even former minister Ramesh Jarkiholi is also not in touch with our party leaders,” he said.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Taking objection to BJP leader and former minister Umesh Katti’s recent statement that the coalition government would collapse in two weeks, Yeddyurappa said Katti should not have made such statement.</p>.<p class="bodytext">He said he met Amit Shah to discuss about the state unit’s preparation for the coming Lok Sabha polls. There was no discussion on political developments in Karnataka, he added.</p>
