<p>A woman allegedly involved in the CD scandal that has caused a political storm released another video on Thursday, stating that she was ready to appear before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) if her parents were given full security. </p>.<p>In the viral video clip, the woman referred to a previous clip in which she had sought personal protection. She said she had sent the video statement to the SIT and the Bengaluru commissioner of police on March 12, but it was released on the next day soon after former minister Ramesh Jarkiholi filed a complaint. </p>.<p>SIT chief Soumendu Mukherjee, additional commissioner of police (West), said no such video was sent by the woman to the team. The second video released on Thursday is 1 minute 13 seconds long. The clip released to media persons was played from a laptop and recorded from an unknown device. The officials suspect that the woman, with the help of kingpins, was releasing the video to a person who is re-recording it from another device to ensure that the officials don't get clues about their location. </p>.<p><span class="bold"><strong>What she said in the CD</strong></span></p>.<p>"I am 100% sure that my parents have not filed a complaint on their own... because they know that their daughter has not made any mistake. There is no need for them to be in fear. For me, my parents' safety is important. When I get to know they are safe, I will appear before the SIT and provide the statement and follow the procedure.</p>.<p>Before that, I request Siddaramaiah (former chief minister), D K Shivakumar (KPCC president), Ramesh Kumar (former speaker) and women's organisations to ensure safety of my father and mother. On March 12, I made a video and sent it to the commissioner of police office and the SIT. On March 13, after the former minister filed a complaint in a hurry, my video was released. I don't understand whose side the SIT team is on, whom they are trying to safeguard."</p>
