She has scored 124 in Kannada, 100 each in English, Hindi, Mathematics and Science and 98 in Social Studies.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Out of the 13,429 students who faced the examinations, 10,595 succeeded in clearing the examinations. Of those who had passed, 4,895 are boys and 5,238 are girls.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Sringeri education block is leading with 90.96% results. Chikkamagaluru block is in the bottom with 74.06% results.</p>.<p class="bodytext">About 61 schools in the district have recorded 100% results. Of these, 26 are government schools, two aided schools and 33 are unaided. No school has got zero percent results.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Chikkamagaluru DDPI Nanjaiah said that special classes were arranged for SSLC students to aim at higher results. She attended coaching in the school during the evenings. She studied the lessons and clarified doubts with teachers on the same day. She is the daughter of Mescom Engineer Guruswamy and Hemavathy, a teacher. They are based in Ramanahalli.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Bhumika Naidu C R has scored 621 marks (99.36%). She has secured 125 marks in Kannada, 100 each in Hindi, Mathematics and Science and 98 each in English and Social Science. </p>.<p class="bodytext">She is the daughter of Kote resident Ravindranath, a merchant and Shubha, a homemaker. She wants to be an aeronautical engineer.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Speaking to <span class="italic">DH</span>, she said that she thoroughly studied the notes provided in her class. She made sure that she got everything right. She devoted three hours daily for revisions.
