<p>Four Bengaluru-based engineers, including a probationary Excise Inspector, died on the spot as the car hit a container from behind at D Chikkagondanahalli, near Channarayapatna, early on Saturday.</p>.<p>Chetan (28), also probationary Excise Inspector, Manjunath (29), Vikram (29) and Abhishek (29), of Bengaluru, are deceased. All the four were friends and heading towards Chikkamagaluru from Bengaluru in a car. The car hit the container from behind and the contained towed the car for a few distance.</p>.<p>According to the Police, a total of eight friends in two cars were bounding Chikkamagaluru and the friends coming in another car, stopped the container, which was towing the car.</p>.<p>District in-charge Minister K Gopalaiah visited mortuary where the dead body were kept.</p>
