Kukreja resigns from Bowring Institute
Avinash Kukreja, who had stashed cash, gold, watches and documents worth Rs 500 crore in his lockers, tendered his resignation to H S Srikanth, the secretary of Bowring Institute on Tuesday. Kukreja was supposed to present himself before a disciplinary committee on July 31, between 6.30 and 7 pm, answering a show-cause notice asking why he should not be expelled from the club for misusing its lockers.
