Bandipur wildfire brought to SC's notice
The 'man-made' Bandipur forest fire has been brought to the notice of the Supreme Court, which is scheduled to take up on March 6 a plea filed by the Kerala government in 2010 challenging the night traffic ban on the national highway passing through the Tiger Reserve.

CM’s aerial survey of Bandipur today
Fighting tirelessly for over five days with help from Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopters, the Karnataka Forest Department on Tuesday succeeded in dousing the raging forest fire in Bandipur Tiger Reserve. Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy will conduct an aerial survey of the damage to the forest on Wednesday.

Plea on social media for support to douse Bandipur fire
