New directorate to monitor radiation centres in state

X-Ray, CT Scan and other radiation machines in hospitals and other healthcare centres will soon be monitored by a state-level safety directorate to be set up as per the guidelines laid down by the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB).

Directorate of radiation safety in state soon

To keep tabs on facilities that use X-rays and ensure they are regulated, the government is all set to establish a Directorate of Radiation Safety soon. In future, this body will take care of radiation safety throughout the State.
