Over 86 lakh pilgrims visit cave shrine of Mata Vashno Devi in J&K
As per the monthly figures, a total of 6,16,609 devotees visited Mata Vaishno Devi in January this year, followed by 4,32,925 in February, 8,61,517 in March, 9,55,575 in April, 1,164,301 in May, 1,115,719 in June, 7,65,726 in July, 5,73,730 in August, 6,78,484 in September, and 8,74,657 in October.

J&K Assembly Polls 2024 Highlights: Polling for the final phase concludes
This blog is now closed. These were the highlights on the day of voting for the third and final phase of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. As many as 40 seats across seven districts, including the winter capital Jammu went to polls in this phase. The bulk of the seats — 24 seats — are in the Jammu division, while 16 are in Kashmir. A voter turnout of nearly 69% per cent was recorded. Samba district in Jammu saw the highest turnout at 73.45 per cent, while Baramulla in Kashmir had the lowest at 55.73 per cent.
