BBMP in line for Guinness Record for picking plastic

Replicating the Scandinavian trend of ‘Plog Run’— picking litter (plastic) while jogging for the first time — the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) on Tuesday is all set to enter the Guinness Book of World Records. Volunteer joggers as part of the run at 50 locations across the IT city collected a whopping 33.4 tonnes of plastic litter, breaking the previous world record of 28.5 tonne
