Long-awaited snowfall uplifts spirits of tourists, stakeholders back in biz after lull

A senior tourism official at Gulmarg acknowledged the lack of snowfall as a contributing factor to the drop in tourists this year. 'Last year, we had 4,000 to 5,000 tourist arrivals on a daily basis, now the number has come down to half'.
