Ather sets up largest EV-charging infra in Bengaluru
Electric mobility solutions firm Ather Energy on Monday announced the launch of its charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, AtherGrid, which is open to all EVs. The company, known for its intelligent electric scooter S340, has begun installations of the connected charging stations across Bengaluru. Over 30 charging points will be set up by the end of this month, while 60 charging points will be available in the city by the end of the year. With this, there will be a charging station within 4 kms driving distance from any point.

Ather wants to create complete EV ecosystem
Ather Energy has envisioned creating an ecosystem for electric mobility, introducing its first two products on Tuesday. The company, which was founded by IITians Tarun Mehta and Swapnil Jain in 2013, launched its two awaited scooters Ather 340 and 450 - priced Rs 1,09,750 and Rs 1,24,750 (on-road Bengaluru) - respectively, which is inclusive of the FAME subsidy of Rs 22,000.
