Parliament Highlights: Rajya Sabha adjourned till July 1

The day started with Lok Sabha proceedings getting disrupted amid protests by opposition members demanding a discussion on paper leaks. Multiple MPs including Congress' Manickam Tagore moved an Adjournment Motion over NEET row, which was followed by a ruckus, leading to Lok Sabha proceedings being adjourned until July 1. Exam Row Highlights: CBI takes over cases from 3 states in NEET-UG issue
Amid countrywide protests and litigation by students for a probe into the irregularities in the NEET-UG exam, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Sunday took over the probe and dispatched its teams to several states for investigation. On Monday, the CBI took over 5 cases from Bihar, Gujarat and Rajasthan pertaining to alleged malpractices in NEET-UG exam held on May 5 this year. Meanwhile, AAP leader Sanjay Singh called BJP an IPL (Indian Paper Leak) team over the row. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee wrote to PM Modi and urged him to scrap NEET, and restore state medical entrance exams. The day remained heated up with protests across the country with the Congress party demanding the resignation of Union education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
