Beijing: Fiji Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka said he was encouraged by Chinese President Xi Jinping's ideas on peaceful coexistence and that they aligned with the Pacific island leader's own "Ocean of Peace" concept during a meeting in Beijing on Tuesday.

"I am very much encouraged by your principles, your ideas on peaceful coexistence, on the principles of progress. They are in line with what I have in mind for the concept of the Ocean of Peace," Rabuka said, adding that he would bring up that Xi is supportive of the idea at next week's Pacific Islands Forum.
