Jakarta: Indonesia President Joko Widodo on Wednesday said he respected the decisions of each government agency when asked about changes to regional election rules.
His comment came after a parliamentary body agreed to annul some changes to the election laws, contradicting a ruling by the Constitutional Court earlier this week.
The changes will affect the potential nomination of popular former Jakarta governor Anies Baswedan.
