Passenger train carriages derail in Russia's north, railroad company says

Moscow: A passenger train derailed in Russia's Komi region, located in the country's Northwestern Federal District, on Wednesday, Russia's state railroad company said.

The Interfax news agency reported that the derailment of the nine carriages resulted in injuries, but did not provide details on the number, or severity of those injuries.
