Russia will respond in kind if US resumes nuclear tests

Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov clarified that the country was not trying to influence the upcoming presidential election in the US.

Moscow: Russia will respond in kind if the United States resumes nuclear tests, the TASS news agency cited Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov as saying on Friday.

Ryabkov also said Russia was not trying to influence the upcoming presidential election in the United States and had little hope for a thaw in bilateral relations even in the event of a victory for Donald Trump.
