'The Boys' take a jibe at Trump again, says hero Homelander served food to pre-selected customers at burger joint

Amazon Prime Video's satirical superhero series 'The Boys' has often been seen drawing some very in-your-face commentary on the US political scenario over the course of four seasons. So the showmakers could not let go off a chance to comment on the political campaigns waged by Donald Trump, especially given the show's lead Antony Starr, who plays the evil Captain America-esque 'Homelander' has previously compared his own character to the Republican nominee and former US president.

On the X handle of the fictional multi-billion dollar superhero entertainment conglomerate Vought International, the showmakers shared a post, indirectly poking fun at Donald Trump amid his recent visit to a McDonald's outlet in Pennsylvania.

The former US President removed his suit jacket, put on a black and yellow apron and cooked batches of french fries, something he said he had wanted to do 'all my life.'

He handed the fries out to some of his supporters through the drive-through window of the restaurant, which had been closed to the general public, which drew jibes from several quarters for being overly scripted.

In true 'Vought-style', the tweet said how Homelander too 'dreamed of working at his local Vought A Burger. Recently, his wish came true, as Vought shut down a restaurant and staged pre-selected customers, so Homelander could “serve” “people” “food.” Thanks, Homelander, for showing everyone how you’re a true man of the people!'

The post garnered a lot of attention on social media although one person was of the opinion that since Homelander is the most popular in the show, what if the parody might actually help him instead of hurting the Republican's chances.

We think that is some 'Deep-level' thoughts but we have to ask, "Kevin, is that you?"

Meanwhile, Trump has said the McDonald's visit was intended in part as a jab at Harris, who says she worked at the fast-food chain during her college years in California. Trump claims Harris never worked there but has provided no evidence to back that up.
