Releasing the BJP manifesto, Shah said that the BJP would implement the Uniform Civil Code in the state but the tribal population would be kept out of its ambit.

“A Uniform Civil Code will certainly be implemented in Jharkhand, but the identity and heritage of the tribal communities will be fully preserved. The tribal community will be kept out of the ambit of the UCC,” Shah said at the manifesto launch. Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, Union minister Shivraj Chouhan and state party leader Babulal Marandi were present at the event.

Shah also said that the number of tribals in the state is continuously decreasing. "Infiltrators are coming to Santhal Pargana and luring our daughters and marrying them and occupying the land. If this is not stopped, then neither the culture of Jharkhand, nor the employment, land, or daughters here will be safe. That is why the BJP is moving ahead with the slogan of securing 'Roti, Beti, Maati'," he added.

In its manifesto, the party also declared that if they are elected, then children of those from outside the state marrying tribals won’t get tribal status. The party has promised that the land of tribals occupied by infiltrators will be restored.

“I am convinced that the BJP government is being formed in Jharkhand and we will drive out these infiltrators. We will bring the law and return the land taken away from women," he added.

Apart from that, the BJP also promised Rs 2,100 every month to women, apart from providing LPG cylinders at Rs 500. “Under the ‘Gogo Didi scheme’, women will be given Rs 2,100 every month. Free LPG gas cylinders will be given on Diwali and Raksha Bandhan and the cylinders will be given for Rs 500. Five lakh employment opportunities will be created for the youth of Jharkhand,” Shah said.

In its manifesto, the party also said that to support youth in their careers, the BJP will provide a monthly stipend of Rs 2,000 for two years. The party also promised to create 2,87,000 government jobs and offer 500,000 self-employment opportunities.

Assembly Elections 2024 | The Maharashtra Assembly polls will take place against the backdrop of a fractured political landscape in the western state where the Shiv Sena and NCP will be going up against the Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar factions, even as the BJP and Congress try to make their mark. Meanwhile, in Jharkhand, the JMM faces a new challenge after Hemant Soren's recent arrest and Champai, a longstanding party member, joining the BJP. The Haryana election resulted in a shock loss for Congress, which was looking to galvanize on the Lok Sabha poll performance, while J&K also saw the grand old party eventually stepping away from the cabinet, with Omar Abdullah's JKNC forming government. It remains to be seen if the upcoming polls help BJP cement its position further or provide a fillip to I.N.D.I.A.
