Counting of votes for Uttarakhand State Assembly Elections began on March 10 at 8 am. The state went to polls on 14 February 2022. The early trends have shown BJP leading in the hilly state, with Congress following suit.

— As of 7:40 pm, BJP has won 37 seats and Congress has won 16. BJP is set to sweep the state as it leads in 48 seats, while Congress leads in 18 seats.

— Incumbent Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami lost from his Khatima constituency by 6,579 votes to Congress's Bhuwan Chandra Kapri

— Former Chief Minister and Congress leader Harish Rawat also lost in his constituency of Lalkuwa by 17,527 votes.

— His daughter Anupama Rawat won from Haridwar Rural constituency.

— The state recorded a voter turnout of 59.51 per cent.
