Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Sunday said Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who asked Uddhav Thackeray-led party to make Congress say good words about Hindutva ideologue V D Savarkar, has failed to understand Maharashtra.
Shah on Sunday that Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray was siding with Congress, whose leaders have insulted Balasaheb Thackeray and Veer Savarkar.

"We (MVA) are fighting the election on core issues and will not be drawn into the Hindu-Muslim fake narrative," Patole said. PM Modi in Jharkhand claimed that while the UPA govt in 10 years from 2004-2014 gave Rs 80,000 crore for the development of Jharkhand, the NDA govt in the last 10 years sanctioned over Rs 3 lakh crore for the state. "Madam Sonia ji used to run the government and Manmohan Singh was kept as the PM. They gave only Rs 80,000 crore to Jharkhand in 10 years, while NDA gave over Rs 3 lakh crore in the last 10 years," Modi said.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Sunday held a roadshow in his Kopri-Pachpakhadi assembly seat, where he is pitted against Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Kedar Dighe.
"Farmers who quench the hunger of the country are in distress, but the ruling parties are not concerned. Such people have no right to be in power. They must be unseated. In the last nine months, 950 farmers have died by suicide. This is because they cannot recover capital investment, leading to burden of loans," he said. (PTI)
